SNAP FILM LABS

The assignment was to create a logo and packaging suite for a fictional company of our choosing. SNAP is a mail-in film developing service based on the coast of San Diego, CA. The logo contains 3 colorful waves representing a California sunset and the sun as the camera lens. The colors, are bright but muted to create a nostalgic feeling that reflects the older aspect of film photography. SNAP’s target audience is anyone who doesn’t have access to a dark room or film processing service in their own city. Single-use film cameras, which have come back in style for the younger audience, tend to take a few, long weeks to be developed at a common drugstore, but SNAP is a much faster alternative because your images will be uploaded to your account on SNAP’s website as soon as your film is developed.
